Transformers are tested on an automated test station with the use of digital instruments.

The laboratories of the Test Center are equipped with the modern computerized benches, which allow to mechanize and automate the technological process of testing transformers and their units.
The use of this equipment allows to reduce the time of product testing, as well as to reduce the influence of the subjective factor on the test results.

There has been a bench of acceptance testing of switching devices such as OLTC for more than four years, created using microprocessor programmable technology. The software product of this bench is based on the universal software product LabVIEW 7.1F. National Instruments.

The introduction of this bench allowed to automate the process of switches testing on 70%, as well as reduce the test time of one product by half.

Acceptance tests of the built-in current transformers are performed on a similar bench. The software product of the bench is also based on the universal software product LabVIEW 7.1F. National Instruments.
The test results on this bench are formed both in the test reports database and in the passports database for current transformers. The bench allows testing current transformers with accuracy class 0.2S and 0.5S, designed for monitoring and metering electricity during operation of power transformers.
