Transformer equipment

General purpose transformer:
  • power transformers (3-ph., sealed, ONAN) of the voltage class of 6 and 10 kV, from 100 up to 1600 kVA in capacity;
  • transformers of the voltage class of 35 kV with off-circuit and on-load tap changer for electrical grids and own needs of electric power station with different combination of voltage, capacity from 1000 up to 80000 kVA;
  • transformers of the voltage class of 110 kV, from 2500 up to 200000 kVA in capacity range;
  • transformers and autotransformers of the voltage class of 220 kV, 2 and 3-winding, from 40000 up to 400000 kVA in capacity;
  • voltage class 330 kV is presented by the ТДЦ-250000/330 (3-phase, OFAF, with NLTC, 25 MVA, 330 kV), autotransformers of АТДЦТН-125000/330/110 (Autotransformator, 3-phase, OFAF, 3-winding, with OLTC, 125 MVA, 330 kV/110 kV);
  • the line of the equipment in the voltage class of 500 kV includes the transformers of ОРЦ-135000/500/220 (1-phase, with the splitted LV winding, OFWF, with NLTC, 135 MVA, 500/220 kV), autotransformers of АОРЦТ-135000/500/220 (Autotransformator, 1-phase, with the splitted LV winding, OFWF, 3-winding, with NLTC, 135 MVA, 500/220 kV), АОРЦТ-135000/500/110 (Autotransformator, 1-phase, with the splitted LV winding, OFWF, 3-winding, with NLTC, 135 MVA, 500/110 kV). АОДЦТН-167000/500/220 (Autotransformator, 1-phase, OFAF, 3-winding, with OLTC, 167 MVA, 500/220 kV), АОНДЦТН-267000/500/220 (Autotransformator, 1-phase, ODAF, 3-winding, with OLTC, 267 MVA, 500/220 kV).

Transformers for use in a generator unit
Transformers are meant for power conversion produced by the electric power station operating in the wholesale market of the electric power, at the local level and objects of the distributed generation up to the level of the normal voltage operating in the electric power system. As a rule transformers are single-phase or three-phase two-winding designs without tap-changer with different cooling depending on capacity. The capacity range of generator transformer by production of Co. Ltd. “TOGLIATTI TRANSFORMATOR” is from 10 MW up to 630 MW.

Network transformers are the main park of the power equipment of a national electric power system and are link of the system-generating, supply and distributive power grids from 750 kV up to 0,4 kV. The biggest section of the plant catalog is devoted to network transformers of the most different construction, designs and purpose.

Transformers for supply of sharply fluctuating load
Besides transformers and autotransformers of general purpose Co. Ltd. “TOGLIATTI TRANSFORMATOR” produces transformers for shock load of rolling mills and foundry furnaces of metallurgical production.

Resistibility of the transformer to load impact is directly connected with pressing of windings therefore making of the construction and technological decisions preventing falling of a press fitting of windings in operation was the main objective during creation of transformers of this series. At the same time an essential role is played by the known measures, such as application of a rigid electro cardboard, double drying with cyclic pressing-around of windings.

For the purpose of a complete elimination of falling of pressing of windings at repeated impact loads we have implemented constant pressing of windings at operation by means of special hydrospring jacks and system of drying of windings and active part in the press state by springs. Based on these decisions it was created the series of transformers type ТДНМ (3-phase, ONAF, with OLTC ONAF), type ТРДНМ (3-phase, with the splitted LV winding, ONAF, with OLTC ONAF), type ТРДЦНКМ-63000/110 (3-phase, with the splitted LV winding, ONAF, with OLTC in the metallurgy production and arc metal founding furnace, 63 MVA, 110 kV) for metallurgical production, the series of transformers type ТДТНЖУ (3-phase, ONAF, 3-winding, with OLTC) from 25000 up to 40000 kVA in capacity, the voltage class of 110 and 220 kV for rolling stock supply of railway transport.

The transformer, type ТРДЦНКМ-63000/100000/110-У1 (3-phase, with the splitted LV winding, ONAF, with OLTC in the metallurgy production and arc metal founding furnace, 63/100 MVA, 110 kV) has been successfully tested at the powerful test bench of Togliatti, 300 thousand blows at double frequency rate relative to rated current.

Transformers and autotransformers for electrified railways
As a part of products of Co. Ltd. “TOGLIATTI TRANSFORMATOR” the considerable proportion is the big scale of types of transformers for needs of Russian Railwais. These are transformers and autotransformers:
  • for installations of control capacitance of reactive shunt compensation of type ОРМЖ-10000/27 (1-phase, with the splitted LV winding, ONAN, with NLTC, 10 MVA, 27 kV);
  • for supply of traction substation and contact system of electrified railways, type АОМЖ (Autotransformator,1-phase, with the splitted LV winding, ONAN, with NLTC, 10 MVA, 27 kV), ОРДТНЖ (1-phase, with the splitted LV winding, ONAF, 3-winding, with OLTC), ТДТНЖ (3-phase, ONAF, 3-winding, with OLTC), ТДТНЖУ (3-phase, ONAF, 3-winding, with OLTC) from 10000 up to 40000 kVA in capacity, the voltage class of 27, 110, 220 kV;
  • for supply of semiconductor converter section of traction substation of railways, type ТРДП-12500/10 (3-phase, with the splitted LV winding, ONAF, with NLTC, 12,5 MVA, 10 kV);
  • for operation in mobile traction substation, type ТДЦП-32000/110 (3-phase, OFAF, with NLTC, 32 MVA, 110 kV). 

As a result of creative scientific and technical cooperation with JSC “VIT” and JSC “All-Russian Research-and-Development and design-and-engineering Institute of electric locomotive building” it is developed and mastered the series of traction transformer from 1765 up to 11500 kVA in capacity, the voltage class of of 25 kV for rolling stock in production.

Seismic transformers
The key priority of enterprise is the transformers production of seismic design (intensity up to 9 on the MSK-64 scale). The research and development activities are carried out in cooperation with Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Samara State Aerospace University and JSC “VIT” (the Ukraine). As result of this R&D it was developed the design methodology of power transformers of seismic design, bench test methodology of all main components: high-voltage bushings, tap changers, cooling unit, gas relay, control cabinet and other components and also it was defined the constructional parts of seismic transformers. Today the enterprise is ready to deliver the different types of transformers of seismic design of any scale of earthquake intensities within the shortest possible time.
